2023 Manchester City Cup
Event Overview:
The 2023 Nexen Manchester City Cup returns to San Diego over Memorial Day weekend.
Tournament Dates: May 25 – 29, 2023 (Supergoups)
Tournament Dates: May 27-39, 2023
Boys 2004-2008 games will be held at the SoCal Sports Complex (Oceanside)
ALL Boys Super groups (2009-2011) will be held at the SoCal Sports Complex (Oceanside)
Boys 2009 - 2015 games will be held at Galway Downs (Temecula)
ALL Girls games will be held at Surf Cup Sports Park (Del Mar)
Finals are TENTATIVELY scheduled to be played at Surf Cup Sports Park (Del Mar). Venues could change based on the volume of applications.
Parking fees $15 at SoCal Sports Complex | $15 at Surf Cup Sports Park I $12 at Galway Downs
This is a stay and play event. All hotel reservations must be made through Maverick Sports Travel
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
U7-U9 (2016-2014) play 7 v 7
U10-U11 (2013-2012) play 9 v 9
U12-U19 (2011-2004) play 11 v 11
All Teams will compete at the 2022/23 age group level (2013's will play 9v9 and 2011's will play 11v11) and must also present FIFA approved player credentials, MLS, USYSA, US Club etc. for the 2022/23 season (no mixed cards).
All teams are guaranteed three games. This event is a Summer Surf Cup qualifier for the Champion and Finalists from the TOP divisions in each age group.
Registration deadline April 15, 2023 midnight.

B/G 2012 - 2013 $1195.00
B/G 2004 - 2011 $1695.00
The International Super Group (2009) will be part of the event this year!

Refund Policy:
Accepted teams that request to drop from the tournament prior to the April 15th application deadline will be entitled to a full refund less a $75 administration fee and less the credit card processing fee.
Any accepted team is not entitled to a refund for any reason after the April 15th application deadline.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance; Notwithstanding the foregoing, if a governmental order cancels the event or prevents your team from traveling to the event, you will receive a full refund minus any credit card processing transaction fee.
